drunk mushrooms
If you know us AT ALL, you know that we love the hooch. So when Lost Oak Winery offered to send over some of it’s bottles for us to sample and cook with, we reacted casually, normally and graciously accepted freaked the F*#% out.
skillet poblano queso
So, this Sunday is the big game! Unfortunately, outside of tear-jerking commercials and the occasional Janet Jackson nip, this means usually less than nothing to us. I mean, what is a Seahawk?
shrimp kabobs
This month, we are embracing summer with our first grilling series. This is the first of three different kabob recipes that will spice up any (non-Jewish) pool party!
butternut squash + apple bisque
Up until very recently, I wasn’t entirely sure butternut squash even was. I definitely couldn’t have picked one out of a vegetable lineup.
goat cheese + salami pesto puffs
We love us some puffs. Cream puffs, puff sleeves, puffy eyes from crying to Steel Magnolias… So incorporating fatty meats and rich creamy dairy into a puff pastry obviously speaks to us.
fan fare: jeff’s green chile corn
If there’s anything we love more than corn, it’s the inappropriate and immature jokes about what happens when you eat a lot of corn!
orange + olive tapenade
In a recent effort to be more smug health-concious/sustainable farming-supportive/foodie-hipsterish, I joined a farm produce co-op.
seared steak crostini
If there’s anything that we love more than a mouthful of meat, we have yet to find it.
