There’s no better way to cool down than to booze up. So, in these hot Summer months, we find no greater comfort than combining alcohol with anything ice cream.
Did we also mention that this recipe included bacon? Ice cream, vodka, AND bacon??? Game over. Shut your mouths, make this recipe, and suck this delicious dessert-cocktail hybrid down. When it comes to these, we say “power through the brain freeze to get to the buzz!”
In a double-boiler over medium-high heat, melt 1/2 cup of the dark chocolate chips. Lay the cooked bacon out on a sheet of wax paper, and drizzle the melted chocolate over the bacon. Lightly sprinkle with sea salt. Place in fridge to set chocolate. Meanwhile, in a blender, combine milk, ice cream, 1/2 cup of graham crackers, the remaining 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips, vodka, maple syrup. Add ice small amounts at a time and blend to desired, milk-shaky consistency. Pour into large frosted mugs. Garnish with chocolate covered bacon and remaining graham crackers.
